Kestrel is the smallest, swiftest of Fire dragons. She belongs to the Vocht – the bloodline that once lived on the southern shores. The crime of the Unknown Day lies on her clan, and there were doubts about bringing back Vocht as the first Resurrected dragon, but by Vaina’s word she was given a chance. Kestrel’s burden are birds of prey – all of them on Keehar and, if she can hear the call, beyond. She finds purpose in caring for them, though it’s hard work. She is always accompanied by a few raptors looking to share her hunt or to join her in conversation.
Kestrel is a fierce fighter – fast and evasive, she breathes black smoke mixed with biting hot sparks. Her falcon wings carry her in and out of battle in moments, and there’s no match for that speed. If the need arises, Kestrel can swarm the battlefield with hundreds and hundreds of flying raptors at her command, sharing her life force with them so that no lives can be risked. Taken from the continent at a very young age, Kestrel doesn’t remember a lot of her human life. After years on the island she hardly resembles a human – Keeharite seeped into her blood and changed her body.
